MEET THE OFFENDERS:

Candy Samples- is a born Gender Offender! Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, she holds the title Miss Pool Slut 1995 from PS: We Care. With a mix of glamour and trash, Candy has entertained NYC audiences for over five years, performing at Cattyshack, D-Lounge, WoW Café Theatre, PS 122, and The Duplex Cabaret Theatre. Her one woman show, Sample Sale, drew huge crowds at The Duplex. The mistress of the microphone has launched her own podcast, The Candy Show, on iTunes and is currently recording an upcoming EP and penning a recipe book. An accomplished actress, singer and writer, one may wonder what the future holds in store for Candy. Perhaps world domination? www.samplemycandy.com

Chic - was born in the heavily militarized zone of San Antonio, Texas.  Her mother is believed to have been a jackal and her father a priest.  At 13, she was stolen away by a band of pirates and was forced to dance for her meals.  It was here that she discovered the power of performing gender and the art of seduction.  In 2000, she co-wrote, co-produced and co-starred in two shows (Chic and Sassy and Chic and Sassy: The Higher the Hair, The Closer to God) at Boston's Tremont Theatre. In 2002, The Higher the Hair was featured as part of the New York International Fringe Festival. Chic has been seen at The Culture Project, PS 122, Cherry Lane Theatre, WoW Café Theatre and La Mama.  In 2004, Chic was featured on TLC's A Makeover Story, and, in 2005, she received her MA in Media Studies. www.myspace.com/idreamofchic

Sassy - Born of Germanic and Hungarian decent, Sassy has always lived the life of a gypsy.  Whether working as a Beer Maid or performing for migrant farmers, she has always been able to use her feminine wiles to intrigue and entertain. Her vagabond lifestyle has taken her across the country performing with her rough and raw sensuality. She is soft as silk, but hard as nails!  She teamed up with her cohort, Chic to produce and perform Chic and Sassy: The High the Hair, the Closer to God, a theatrical experience which premiere in Boston and later in NYC's International Fringe Festival.  In 2001 she wrote and performed a one woman musical cabaret, Six Degrees of Sassification. The same year she teamed up with pop music group The Go-Go's and joined their God Bless The Go-Go's World Tour as a Go-Go dancer.  She also played "Mary Broadshaw" in a theatrical spoof of Sex and the City.  Sassy currently lives in NYC and continues to zigzag her away across the country performing for the masses in saloons, beer halls and art house cabarets. www.myspace.com/sassykicksass
